A lovely holiday luncheon today at the beautiful, historic Cal Tech Atheneum in Pasadena. We all enjoyed a delicious buffet, wonderful company of talented women, a fun secret Santa gift exchange & a guided tour of the grounds by Anita Sohus. A delightful celebration!

The Dressage at Flintridge Annual Memorial Day Show was a huge success for Anita Sohus & Dragonheart aka "Drake" and Stephanie Drachkovitch’s Bandito in his dressage show debut! Bandito had terrific rides with 69%+ & 72%+ in First Level test 1 and Anita earned multiple awards at 3rd level with over 65% & 67%. To top off this success Anita earned her USDF bronze medal, the Gerhard Politz Memorial Trophy for the highest score of a Flintridge Riding Club member & qualified for the CDS Championships in September.

Thrilled that the CDS AA Southern Clinic was a huge success for Dragonheart & Anita Sohus. This pair, under Volker Bromman's keen eye stepped up their skills doing multiple flying changes on a straight line, canter & trot 1/2 passes & a lot more. Kudos to Karen Nocket the organizer of this event for her hard work and to Hinnemann Farms for hosting us with wonderful stabling & a covered arena.

Welcome to Santa Rita aka "Rita", the new mount for club member Mary Icenogle. She is a very pretty 7 yr old Morgan mare, at 14.2 hands the picture perfect size for her petite AA rider. Looking forward to a terrific adventure for this adorable pair.

More wins for this dynamic duo of Isabella Grigorian & W Royal Winner. Today at IEL show they earned a 64.5% at 3rd level 1 in the varsity division. Also pictured are the tricolor ribbons this pair earned as double Champions in the CDS LA Chapter year end standings for 2019 as 2nd level high score & 2nd level high point JR/YR Division.
Peak Performance Dressage has a group of 12 that will be heading to the International World Cup Dressage competition in Las Vegas April 14-19! This international event will feature approximately 20 of the world's top ranked dressage horses/riders that will be heading on to the 2020 Summer Olympics in Toyko, Japan in the late summer.
